The other day I was having lunch with a friend at this downtown restaurant. It was one of those cozy places that let you sit around and lounge all day long if you want. Then all of a sudden this guy started playing this really cool guitar music. And I mean really cool guitar music. It was like music I hadn't heard before.

We wondered where he learned to play. Like when you see somebody really skilled at something, and you really want to find out how they developed that skill. So we asked him, and he said he learned from this special guitar school that operated on an invitation only basis. It was the strangest thing I'd ever heard. Personally, playing the guitar has always been a big dream for me.

So finally after some prodding and pushing, he finally agreed to introduce us to the owner. I have to admit that I had no idea that playing the guitar would be so incredibly useful. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think I shall be enjoying guitar music for many years to come.

After we finished our opening tutorial, he provided us a historical past of the acoustic guitar. The classical guitar was developed by many different cultures at various times in the course of history, therefore no one people can assert the classical guitar as their very own.
