11 Jan 12 I Will Never Use Anything Else Than This – Wellness Dog Food Review

Too bad, it once was a superior product. I originally bought this as a replacement for Science Diet's I/D as it was always much more expensive than anything else out there. My little (10 and 13 pounds) dogs love it, easy to eat small bits, and it's a high grade food source for them. What more can I say. As I had 1 full bag of old formula left, I followed the instructions and guess what, no issues whatsoever with the transition. My dog did NOT get sick at all and has not had a single problem with this food new or old formula.

Use the food cost calculator. Your dog eats less of this than many of the garbage filled brands. My dogs love it, even the little princess terrier. I've tried many other brands and they enjoy this one the most as so far. During the time it took to slowly switch foods (14 days) my jacks had already gained weight and were looking much better. After 3 weeks we had to reduce their food because they were getting fat!

I switch dogs every day to Canidae without mixing diets due to the nature of the business and it saves me tons in labor. The dogs not only gobble it up - they do not get upset tummies. As a former connoisseur of cheap discount store dog foods, I have finally realized the advantages of feeding a natural premium food. My dogs poop doesn't really stink! My Papillion was at the proper weight but still getting 1.5 cups of Flint River a day. We decided to switch foods and after much debate we chose Canidae.

My German shepherd and 2 golden retrievers have the most incredible coats. Their poops are firm (and easy to pick up) and nearly odorless.

I live in a small town that is 60 miles away from the nearest big city and I am unable to obtain the dog food locally. It is a real convenience for me to buy this from Amazon and the price is equitable.

I wish it was available at more stores. I have started buying a lot of organic food over the past year, and it dawned on me that perhaps my dog should be eating more healthfully also.

His doggy breath has never been better. If I could give this food 10 stars I would.

What I have noticed is there business is allot more controlled and any problems such as regurgitation which I had in past products have gone away. If you're a prime member I would suggest setting up a subscription and be rid of the chore of last minute runs to buy dog food and also know you are giving your pets a quality tier of dog food. Our newest dog was an "itcher" and after research, I decided to try a new dog food. I settled on Canidae for the same reason as the other reviewers; top notch ingredients at a reasonable price.
