Music can bring a nation together. It can tear it apart. It can move the people to dance. It can lead them to war. It has been passed on from one generation to another. It has survived the change of genres and survived the weather. It lives on even if its artist is gone. It is a part of history. It makes one cry. It makes one sigh. It makes one crazy but it cannot lie. A certain song can tell so much. Be careful not to hum one during lunch.
Where it came from, how it started no one know. Indeed this is a one cool discovery. I wonder who thought the cavemen how to party. Though primitive, one can see the resourcefulness. Hallowed trunks and sticks to create a melody shouts out creativity. I wonder if dinosaurs know how to dance. How I wish I could travel back in time to take a glance.
Admit it. You are a frustrated artist. You probably took up some piano lessons or drum lessons when you were young. Or most likely ask some friends to give you free guitar lessons to impress a crush in school. Unfortunately music lessons from school were not enough to gain a contract but cheer up. Not everyone who took singing lessons is able to open the gates of heaven, right?
The influence dates back to the primitive days when cavemen danced with dinosaurs before becoming a meal for a day. Evidently their collection shows that it is as old as mankind. Who then invented it? No one knows. Surely this simply show music runs beneath the very soul.
It is not too late to dream. Pursue it.Anyone can still be redeemed. Take up classes and learn the basic. Invite friends to join and practice frequently. Apply the discipline from class. Let not inhibitions be a foe. It will only hinder until the passion is no more.
Only chameleons can mimic a certain style overnight. Learn more about the craft. It would be good to have a role model. However once a style is developed allow it to grow some more. Create a better composition and be recognized around the globe. Do not fret. It takes practice and mistakes to have success.
Mimicking the masters can be a good way to begin. However learning to improve to claim a title as a star worth the effort. Adjusting oneself in the various genres is not bad suggestion. Music is flexible anyways. So why mimic when one can create a new form of composition. Stand out from the rest. Never fear to express. It would be more of a sin to deny such dream.
Learn to listen. This is the key of creating good melody even if it's from a used pianos. Accepting criticism and facing the challenge to exceed limits will lead you in attaining a spot in the music scene. Deleting inhibitions can further reach this concept. However, do be considerate. Do not let the neighbor suffer the injustice of staying up late when you practice though. Do find a spot and practice till you get a desirable result.
